Eric W. Linsner joined IRI in January 2011 after a distinguished career in vessel management and has worked on the development of the IGC and IGF Codes as part of the Marshall Islands IMO delegation. He brings 37 years of LNG design and operational experience to IRI where he provides guidance on technical and commercial issues relating to LNG vessels.  He was previously employed by PRONAV Ship Management, Inc. (PRONAV) as Senior Vice President where his responsibilities included the management of eight LNG vessels under Marshall Islands flag.  His areas of expertise include policy development, regulatory compliance and commercial management. Prior to joining PRONAV, Mr. Linsner was Vice President of Energy Transportation Corporation (ETC).  In this capacity, he was responsible for developing the company’s quality management system including ISM and ISO certification.  He also has experience in P&I claims handling, maritime labor relations, crew training and logistics in support of this fleet.  During his tenure at ETC Mr. Linsner served as the General Manager of the Osaka, Japan branch office, responsible for the maintenance and operations of the vessels. He has also had experience in new construction supervision.

Mr. Linsner received his Master of Science in Engineering Administration from George Washington University and his Bachelor of Science in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Webb Institute where he has served as a visiting professor.
